Gender Inequality in Bangladesh
As the gap in the basic living standards of millions is narrowing, the need for improvement is growing, the report said."The various causes are moving people off the streets - the price of train tickets, the price of petrol, the demand for political freedom, in order to maintain justice and fairness," said UNDP Executive Director Achim Steiner.
A new generation of inequality is opening up to a society that has not emerged since the industrial revolution, education, technology, and climate change - if two uncontrolled earthquakes lead to a new uprising, the report said. In most developed countries, enrollment in static broadband is growing at a rate of 15 times faster and the number of third-generation adults is six times faster than in developed countries.
The UN statement
said: "This is a new face of inequality. As this Human Development Report
points out, inequality does not mean more than just solutions."
A UNDP study shows that 20 percent of human development is lost in 2018 due to the unequal distribution of education, health, and living standards."Whether you're going to university or gaining access to broadband, 'good-natured' is crucial to success, but only the basics left and people in the future seem to have lowered their ladder," said Director Pedro Concio in the HDR office at UNDP.
2019 HDR commended
review policies in areas such as education, production, and government spending
to improve human development. It asks how you look at inequality over the
years, especially in the construction of the next two centuries with "two
earthquakes".
It is a breakthrough
in technological change that includes climate change, renewal, energy
efficiency, digital finance, and digital health solutions.
Good to know. Good luck to Bangladeshi people..
